Roof Replacement in Las Vegas
A replacement is the right call when the waterproofing layer has reached the end of its life across the whole roof, not just in one spot. In Las Vegas that is usually the underlayment, not the surface you can see.
Tile roof replacement
The tile comes off and gets stacked on the roof. The old felt is stripped to the deck, the deck is inspected and any damaged sheathing is replaced, then new high temperature underlayment goes down and the tile is reset. You keep the roof you already like the look of.
Flat and low slope replacement
Depending on the existing assembly we install modified bitumen, a single ply membrane, or spray polyurethane foam with a UV coating. Drainage gets corrected during the tear off, because a flat roof that ponds will fail again regardless of what goes on top.
Shingle replacement
Asphalt shingle ages faster here than the warranty implies, because desert UV and daily thermal cycling work on the mat continuously. We specify shingles rated for high heat and set ventilation so the attic is not cooking the underside of the new roof.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a roof replacement take?
A typical Las Vegas single family tile or shingle roof runs a few days of working time, weather permitting. Larger or multi level roofs and flat roofs with drainage corrections take longer, and your written scope gives the estimate for your roof.
Do I have to replace the tile when I replace the roof?
No. In most tile replacements the existing tile is reused and only broken pieces are swapped. The underlayment beneath it is what gets replaced.
Can you work with my insurance claim?
Yes. If the damage is storm related we document the roof so the claim reflects the actual assembly and the actual damage.
